Pau and Carlos from Spain

Hi! My name is Pau and I come from Spain. I have been to Remagen during the winter semester 2004/2005 for studying logistics and e-business. I lived in the student's residence in Remagen. I got to know a lot of charming people here. Koblenz is a beautiful city at the Rhine. You can find there everything you need. In the beginning I had some problems with the language but now my German is much better. The Germans are really nice and I didn't have any problem with anybody. More than that, I made lots of new friends here. Germany is quite cold in winter but this part (Rheinland-Pfalz) is warmer than the rest of Germany. It's difficult to understand everything in the lessons, but the professors helped me a lot and finally I passed almost all of the exams. Of course I have to mention the parties!! Koblenz is close to Bonn, Cologne etc. And we are allowed to use the trains for free. I visited a lot of cities. And in winter you can find Christmas markets everywhere and you can drink the "Glühwein" there. On the 11th of November starts the Karneval season in Cologne. And it continues in February...

The live as Erasmus student is quite expensive. Generally its round about 600euros per month, but in my case it was a little bit more expensive, maybe it's because I partied too much... And I loved it. I just can tell you one thing: I stay here for one more semester!! Guess why???

Hello, I'm Carlos. I come from Spain, in Castellon exactly. I stayed for one semester at RheinAhrCampus in Germany. I had a very good time here, that's for sure, yes. My German improved very much. We were a rather small group of Erasmus students but had a lot of fun together with the German students. Almost all my friends here are German. The German people are very friendly, and very correctly. The people in Spain, believe that the German people are too much serious, but now I can one thing: that is not true!!!! I chose several courses in the degree programme "Logistics and E-Business". In the beginning I had difficulties with the language and could not understand lectures really good. But when I got used to the language, after daily practise, I understood much more. Remagen is a rather small city at the River Rhine (around 20.000 inhabitants), it is situated very central. You can reach cities as Coblence, Bonn and Cologne in 20 to 40 minutes by train.

I hope all people in my country could visit Germany once in their live. If this would be for a long time, that would be better. I have only good words about Germany and look forward to my future visits!
