What is GreenErasmus-RheinAhrCampus?
GreenErasmus-RheinAhrCampus is the pioneering GreenErasmus Company in Germany that engages with partner universities worldwide in the exchange of green practices to empower students to live and act sustainably.
Our Vision is:
Develop and exchange green practices worldwide to raise environmental awareness among students and guide universities to eco-friendly alternatives. Exchange for a green future!
About the GreenErasmus-RheinAhrCampus:
With 35 employees in 3 departments and the “GreenErasmus-RheinAhrCampus Project” which was launched in 2020 with the aim to reduce the ERASMUS carbon footprint as a basis we are the most trusted environmental company in Remagen. With our help students and exchange students from all continents, are encouraged to be aware of their environment irrespective of the place they travel to or live at by using green practices.
The “GreenMap” is the first-ever filled map showing you green and sustainable places nearby. Our aim is to develop the idea of GreenMap for all our partner universities which will show the locations of the most important GreenPlaces in the new hometown of our Erasmus students.
According to German and international studies a large part of international society wants to learn more about sustainability. We provide these people with the answers and practices they are looking for.
The first stage in developing a vision was to create the “GreenMap” only for Remagen. Currently, we collaborate together with partners all over the world, including the Business and Technology University, Tbilisi in Georgia, the Baku Engineering University in Azerbaijan and the University of Campina Grande in Brazil. Together with the Green Map organization and our partner universities, we created the GreenMaps of Remagen,Tbilisi,Baku and Campina Grande. (https://www.greenmap.org)
