Incentives for International Students

No Plane - no worries

In March 2020 an exchange students from Australia, Kalvin Mitchell, was offered to travel through several European countries by train with a subsidized InterRail Ticket. This incentive made him to stay in Europe during the semester break instead of heading back to Australia for a short visit. During his trip through Europe he made friends with people in different countries who visited him in Germany in his second semester.

Improve your language

In July 2020 three exchange students, Manoel Ferreira from Brazil, Aytaj Aghayeva from Azerbaijan and Ketevan Barbakadze from Georgia were considering returning home for two months during their summer vacation,  The GreenErasmus-RheinAhrCampus Project offered them the opportunity to attend a sponsored four-weeks private German language course in Bonn instead. The students decided to remain in Remagen, improve their German skills, gain important insights into the German culture and experience the German summer in the Rhineland.
