Characters:
Kerstin: A german student with polish origin in charge of dealing with all PR-Tasks
Anja: A german student as well with polish origin travelling with the group as well
Urszula: Kerstin's mother
Thursday evening. One day left before a group of international students intends to leave its home countries for a project on Achill, Ireland. On scene: Kerstin, Anja
Kerstin: „I can't take it anymore. I was working for the last weeks like crazy for that project.“
Anja: „Come on. It will be fine. At least we are leaving tomorrow.“
Kerstin: „Yes, I really hope everything went right. I sent like five articles to the Mayo News, the local gazette on Achill...but I am not sure if they published them.“
Anja: „So what did you write in detail?“
Kerstin: „Most important were the dates...for example for our reception party we want to invite all Achill people to. And I wrote some general things about the project...“
Kerstin sits down and bears her head in her hands. Anja's coming closer.
Kerstin: „It was fun...I did learn a lot...I really had to take over real responsibility.“
Anja: „So you are wondering if everything worked out fine?“
Kerstin: „Of course I am. I wrote an article for the Achill Newsletter too. I am not sure if they published it. I have to deal with the same situation with the Achill Tourist Office. I asked them to publish our invitation to the party...but I don't know if they did it.“
Urszula is entering the stage. She looks a little bit worried.
Urszula: „So...still not sure about the articles?“
Kerstin: „Not quite...My main work is just here before the project. If I didn't do it good there will be no one at our party.“
Urszula: „So why didn't the reporters and editors answer you?“
Kerstin: „That's one important thing I had to learn, mom. They never! I called them all several times...advantage is, they know now all my name...maybe this will help in future.“
Urszula: „What happens if everything goes wrong?“
Kerstin: „So..then I guess there will be no party, no reporter, no success...no fun.“
Anja: „So your job is quite important!“
Kerstin: „Yes, it is. Without the PR-Work the project would hardly work.“

Next challenge!
The week in Achill is over. Today in the morning some of us were packing their luggage or cleaned their cottages, others went for the last time to see the ocean or make pictures of lovely scenery. Local people came to see us off, while we were waiting for the bus to take us to the train station. The atmosphere in the bus was different than any other time, when we were laughing, talking loudly and making jokes. This time everybody was thoughtful somewhere in their minds looking through the windows. Everyone realized that it’s their maybe the last time in this astounding island. In the train students shared their expressions and emotions about the last week, also changed photos together and planed the work for the next week. As the train finally arrived to Dublin everybody’s face was excited and full of expectations about the new city and people. We were waiting for new challenges and experiences.
