Abstract

In 2016 four Institutions of higher education founded an international research network for studying the challenges of an inclusive society in Europe and the role of social work in this transformation. The first project of the network is a publication which explores the issue of an "inclusive society" by social researchers in four European higher education institutions (D, E, HR, NL). The publication being developed addresses the application of the concept on a national and supranational level as a way to reflect on the position, implications and role of the social work profession.
