Professor for Human Rights and Rights of the Child

The following professorship is to be filled in the department Social Sciences at the location of Koblenz as soon as possible: 
 

Professor (f/m/d)for Human Rights and Rights of the Child
(Base Salary: W 2)

Part-time employment is possible.

Your tasks
•    Representation of teaching (in German and English) in the subject areas of Social Work and Ear-ly Childhood Research and the study programmes of the department Social Sciences.
•    Establishment of a research profile as well as national and international research activities incl. publications
•    Networking with regional cooperation partners (associations, etc.) 
•    Participation in academic self-administration

Your profile:
•    Professional expertise in the teaching area of Human Rights and Rights of the Child with a strong focus on practical use and applications, in the subject areas of Social Work and Early Childhood Research  
•    Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally leadership experience
•    Enthusiasm for working with young people and their development
•    Openness for the further development and implementation of innovative teaching concepts 
•    Openness to taking on new teaching content within the framework of the long-term, strategic and, if necessary, interdisciplinary further development of the range of courses offered
•    High social competence in dealing with students, colleagues and employees
•    Good German skills (minimum C1-level) and good English skills

The hiring requirements for professorships result from § 49 of the Higher Education Act of Rhineland-Palatinate (HochSchG).
