Professor Business Administration, in particular German Tax law and Accounting (national and international)

The following professorship is to be filled in the department Faculty of Business at the location Koblenz as soon as possible: 

Professor (f/m/d)
Business Administration, in particular German Tax law and Accounting (national and international) 
(Base Salary: W 2)

Part-time employment is possible.

Your tasks:
• Teaching (in German and if applicable or necessary English) in the subject areas German Tax law and Accounting (national and international) 
• Establishment of a research profile as well as national and international research activities incl. publications
• Networking with regional stakeholders (companies, associations, etc.) 
• Participation in academic self-administration

Your profile:
• Professional expertise in the teaching area German Tax law (in particular Ertrags-, Umwandlungs- and International Tax law) and Accounting (in particular HGB Group Accounting and inter-national Accounting in accordance with IFRS)
• Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally leadership experience
• Relevant professional qualifications (WP, StB) are an advantage
• Enthusiasm for working with young people and their development
• Openness for the further development and implementation of innovative teaching concepts 
• Openness to develop new teaching content according to further strategic employment
• High social competence in dealing with students, colleagues and employees
• Fluent in German (minimum C2-level) and good knowledge in English

The hiring requirements for professorships result from § 49 of the Higher Education Act of Rhineland-Palatinate (HochSchG).
