Codeshare Summer School 2023

Hochschule Koblenz is a long-standing project partner in the Codeshare Teaching and Learning Project. We would like to thank Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences for hosting this exciting international academic opportunity!

VIRTUAL SUMMER SCHOOL 2023 (July 31 to August 18, 2023).

Internationalising your studies without a need to travel? This is exactly what the "Codeshare Teaching and Learning Project is all about. Once again, students were able to choose from a wide range of modules. The classes were organised in four streams offered over a three-week period. Offers ranged from Social Innovation, Design Thinking and “Crypto Assets and the Bitcoin Rush” to “International Career Building”. 

• Credits: 2-3 ECTS for each course (Recognition at home university must be checked individually!)
• Courses could be taken separately or in conjunction with each other. In order to ensure a balanced workload, students were encouraged to focus on no more than three classes over the three-week period.
• All classes were taught in English and embedded into a range of optional social activities in order to encourage networking and cultural learning.
• Successful participants were awarded an e-Certificate with a detailed description of course contents, learning outcomes, assessment methods and individual results. 

The program was offered in cooperation with the following international partners:

• University of Cape Coast
• South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences
• Coastal Carolina University
• Shenzen University of Technology.

Students enjoyed the cooperation in immersive international small-group environments and the opportunity to gain some insights beyond the classic offers of their home universities.
