Around 2,800 students study at the RheinAhrCampus. Koblenz University of Applied Sciences cooperates with 120 universities around the world and is home to around 10,000 students from more than 80 countries. There are many ways to ensure that your study experience is as international as possible: spend a semester abroad, participate in international events with visitors from other countries, or take advantage of the language labs. Our Department for Languages and International Affairs ensures that there are many ways for you take advantage of the university’s international focus.

The innovative RheinAhrCampus has cutting-edge facilities. The university's state-of-the-art architecture and light-filled, glass-fronted buildings not only look impressive, they also house many high-tech facilities – from computer rooms to specialist research laboratories. Our students benefit from an excellent education and access to high-quality equipment and resources.
The RheinAhrCampus has a modern canteen, a coffee lounge, a beautiful, spacious recreation area and a beach volleyball court. There are also two comfortable student residences and an attached childcare centre.

We are a university of applied sciences, so you won't only learn about theory. You will experience practical research during your studies and have the chance to see close up how theories are applied in practice. The faculties of Mathematics and Technology, and Business and Social Sciences carry out interdisciplinary research in three major fields: natural sciences, technology and social sciences.
Our professors and lecturers have extensive professional experience in their fields, so they know what they are talking about. Students also benefit from our close ties to research institutes, business and industry.

Close to the River Rhine, the RheinAhrCampus is in an idyllic yet central location. It is just a short walk from the campus to the river. Remagen is within easy reach of the cities of Cologne, with its impressive cathedral, and Bonn, the former capital of the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as Koblenz. Students can travel free of charge to all three cities with their semester ticket travel pass. It is just 15 minutes by train to Bonn Central Station and 40 minutes to Cologne. There is lots to explore in the Rhine, Moselle and Ahr region and you can enjoy culture, sports activities and breathtaking scenery without travelling far. The Middle Rhine Valley's mild climate is another advantage.
