Sports Management (M.A.)

Building on the Bachelor of Arts or a comparable degree, the RheinAhrCampus offers a Master's degree as a consecutive programme.

After passing the examinations and the final thesis, students are awarded with the internationally recognised academic degree "Master of Arts".

In the Master’s Thesis, students are expected to develop and justify a well-founded position on the used scientific theories. This clearly exceeds the requirement level of a final thesis of the Bachelor's degree.

The comprehensive application of scientific methods and theories to solve a specific problem in the Master's thesis are solid proof of the student's ability to earn a doctorate.

The study programme is designed to provide students with business administration know-how and management skills across all industries. Thererfore, job opportunities can be found in all areas of business management.

Graduates of the Master's programme with a specialisation in Sports Management can find their professional future in organised sports, i.e. in sports clubs, sports associations or public sports administration. Graduates will also find a wide range of employment opportunities with commercial sports providers or companies in the field of sports rights marketing or sports sponsorship. Other potential employers include sports-related companies such as sporting goods manufacturers, insurance companies, consulting firms or banks.
