Dr Mayis Azizov (BEU) 2019

Our Faculty of Business and Social Sciences was delighted to welcome Assoc. Prof. Dr Mayis Azizov from Baku Engineering University as a visiting lecturer.

Dr. Mayis Azizov is an associate professor and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Baku Engineering University, Azerbaijan. Dr. Azizov received his M.A. from Marmara University in 2000 and completed his Ph.D. in Economic policy at Marmara University (Turkey) in 2007.

Dr. Mayis Azizov delivered seminars and did some academic activities in Poland in the framework of the Erasmus+ program for one month in 2015. In addition, Dr. Azizov visited the US for six months as a visiting scholar at Auburn University in 2016. The holder of several national and international awards, Dr. Azizov has realized various research projects in Macroeconomics, Microeconomics and published numerous scientific articles on Monetary Policy, Foreign direct investment. He has served on many editorial boards and as referee of the many journals. He also delivers lectures in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Microeconomic analysis.

At our university, he covered the following electives:

• Macroeconomic Key Factors and their Impact on Business (B.A. B51), March to mid-May, Mon 11:45 to 13:15 (A016), Tue 14:15-15:45 hrs (D019)

His visit to our university was embedded into the exchange activities in the framework of the in the context of ERASMUS+ mobility with partner countries (Key Action KA 107).
