The degree programmes offered by the Faculty of Business and Management are geared towards meeting the demands of business and the job market. The integration of theory and practice provides students with the qualifications they need for a successful professional career. The quality of the degree programmes is safeguarded through a system of consistent quality management and accreditation.
The bachelor degree programmes offered by the Faculty of Business and Management deliver a broadly based general education in economics and management and are academic degrees which comprise professional qualifications. In six to seven semesters, students gain specialist knowledge related to their disciplines. The degree programmes are characterised by their practical relevance and emphasis on the acquisition of methodological expertise and social skills. All the degree programmes require the completion of a bachelor thesis at the end of the course. Seven bachelor degree programmes are currently offered.
Acceptance onto one of the master degree programmes offered by the Faculty of Business and Management requires an above average performance at bachelor level. You have the opportunity to enhance the knowledge you have already gained on the bachelor degree programme and select an area of specialisation. All the degree programmes require the completion of a master thesis at the end of the course. The Faculty of Business and Management offers three degree programmes leading to the qualification Master of Science.
In addition, there is also the degree programme Master of Business Administration (MBA). This programme is aimed at students who already possess a vocational qualification and/or degree and furthermore have several years’ professional or managerial experience. The degree programme Master of Business Administration leads to the qualification of MBA.
