Objective of this Survey

The survey BPM Compass investigates current drivers and success factors of business process management. The focus of this study is on questions in relation to:

  • Goals and degree of goal achievement of business process management
  • Effects of factors such as digital transformation, industry 4.0, big data, or cloud computing
  • Connections with other management approaches such as six sigma, agile methods, or lean management
  • Relevance and acceptance of business process management within the organization
  • Responsibilities, roles and governance structure of business process management
  • Connection between organizational structure and business models

Practitioner Council

The goal of the survey BPM Compass is to enhance knowledge on practice and success factors of business process management. In order to assure relevance of the survey, the practitioner counsil supports the design and the evaluation of the survey results.
